on the twelfth day of the giveaway my true love gave to me...

a plethora of mem-or-ies. that is right. because sadly, our twelve days of giveaway has come to an end. it has come to THEE giveaway to end all giveaways. and I think you may just love it. that is, if you would like to win a super awesome shoot date with me....oh just think, the fun we will have...

for on the twelfth day of christmas your true love may just give to you...

a family session with mL photography in 2011. oh yes. a whole session. just.for.you.
did I mention that it will not only include up to two hours of on location shooting (here in grand haven) but also a complimentary 11x14 print (revealing one of the new looks to mL photography's offerings in 2011...)

you might just want to win this one if you like having super fabulous moments of you and your family just being, well, you and your family, plastered all over your wall.

so you probably want to know how to enter now, yes? well then, you shall find out...

first, did you check out westedge group's fanpage on facebook?? and perhaps like them which in return adds another dollar to their fabulous donation to one of three fantastic charities (your choice where your money goes...) ?? simple.as.that. and giving to charities makes my heart smile..three times too big. the good kind too big.
(and if you do not have facebook no worries, you can *still* enter this mother of a giveaway, too...)

okay now here comes the fun...

to enter to win a session with mL photography in 2011 (including that 11x14 print), why don't we play a little christmas mad libs of sorts...

you need to simply fill in the blanks on this little "twas the night before christmas" poem and make it your own. you might just want to copy it and fill it in and then repaste it in the comments (which is where you will enter..)

here goes:

********

twas the night before christmas when... _______________________________ the house,

not a _____________________________ , not even a mouse.

the _____________________________ with care,

in hopes that ___________________ there.

the children ____________________________ their beds,

while ______________________________ heads.

when _____________________________ clatter,

I __________________________________ matter.

(and now comes the part where you add your own 1-2 verses in here...whatEVER your little heart desires... right.here.)

but I heard _____________________________,

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

********

and there you have it! this is a kind of free for all mad libs. when you fill in the blanks, you can add as many or as little words of your choosing and when you get to the end where you need to make up your own two verses, again, *you* decide.

phew! I know, sounds like a lot of work. which is why the contest of giveaway day 12 will end *december 31* at midnight. plenty o time to get your creative juices flowing and have oh.so.much fun with it. and I so hope you do....

just remember, just like with life, don't take it too seriously..

laugh. ahlot.

and think of what just may be waiting for you if you do....

oh yeah. and there is a pretty cool runner-up prize, too. and maybe a lil somethin, somethin else as well?? but I am not at liberty to say. santa just might be listening...

merry christmas my amazing clients, family, friends, and everyone in between. this past year? has been inCREDible for mL photography and it is all thanks to you.

I am grateful to be able to give back. and I hope you have loved every minute of the twelve days of giveaway. and my sponsors? you RULE. your generosity and support overwhelm me.

Hi Missy,
Is this where I fill out the Mad Libs for Twas the Night before Christmas? I'd like to enter in the contest because gosh knows our photos need to be updated and I'd LOVE to win a photo session.

Merry Christmas!!

Twas the night before Christmas in the office of Fox Mulder,
Not an alien was stirring not even a super soldier.
The stockings were hung by the UFO with care,
In hopes that Mulder's sister soon would be there.
Mulder was sleeping in his leaky waterbed,
While visions of Alex Krycek danced in his head.
And Scully in her lab coat waiting for takeout,
Skinner settling down for a long boring stakeout.
'Smoking Man' making a very hugh clatter,
'The Lone Gun Men' sprang to see what was the matter.
Deleting conspiracy files in a flash,
They tore open their computers and liquidated their cash.
The moon has set on this great tv show,
But with the help of DVDs it legacy will grow.
Be not sad or even a little mean,
This show will continue on the big silver screen.
For Mulder and Scully relationship is tight,
They wish you a Merry Christmas and a really good night.

twas the night before christmas when all throughout the house,

many photos were hanging, but not moving, not even a mouse.

the photos from mL photography were hung all over with care,

in hopes that a super-duper prize on the blog would soon be there.

the children captures beautifully by Missy in photos were now in their beds,

while visions of her nice sticker sheets flooded their heads.

when up on Facebook there arose such a clatter,

I sprang to the computer to see what was the matter.

And what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a Super-duper give-away I'd dreamed of all year.

It wasn't on Facebook, or in Santa's sack,
but...,
ALAS,
mL photography's blog has come back!

but as I thought of how I could do this re-write,
I heard Missy say Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
(bwa-ha-ha, as she laughs at me struggling!)

~~~Love, Sarah Garcia
Hope you enjoy, Missy - this was hard!
Here's how my Christmas went...
Twas the night before Christmas when...
I ate everything in the house.
Not a nasty fruit cake to be found, not even a mouse.
The Weight Watcher menu plans were filed away with care,
in hopes that my Biggest Loser invitation soon would be there.
The children were snacking on chocolate Santas in their beds,
While memories of yesterday's stomach ache loomed in their heads.
When my pants busted open and my belt made a clatter,
I stepped on the scale to see what was the matter.
To my surprise, the scale had lied,
I gained 20 pounds, I could've died.
While polishing off the cake...every little bit,
My mind kept saying "This is so it!"
But I heard Jillian Michael's say as the cake fell out of sight,
The journey is long, but the future is bright!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
So there you have it...Christmas by Shannon. And yes I agree with Sarah, this was hard...but a lot of fun :)
Twas the night before christmas when mommy entered the house, No one got excited, not even a mouse.
The cookies for Santa were laid out with care, in hopes that the presents soon would be there.
The children jumped wildly on and off their beds,
while Mommy silently prayed no bruises would appear on their heads.
When Santa arrived he made such a clatter,
I had to try and convince the kids that nothing was the matter.
They didn't believe me and dashed out of their room, just in time to see Santa fly up the chimney with a zoom.
Did you see, did you see mom? The children cried. You must have imagined it I lied.
but I heard such commotion on the roof as he left that I could no longer deny, and as Santa flew away, we all watched with a sigh.
We heard him yell as he flew away...
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
Twas the week before Christmas, we met at the mall.
A great gift was given, **Amazing** pictures from fall.
Now who should receive them? Which one is for you?
So many great images how will I EVAH choose?
I stared out the window, I paced the wood floor.
Thinking maybe, just maybe I should have bought more.
The children are still at school, I must choose today.
Not later, when someone is sure to be *in the Way*.
At last I decide. Not a minute to spare. There is still time to mail them, there is still time to share.
The beautiful smiles, the giggles caught by *YOU*
Merry Christmas Dear Missy and a FaBuLouS *New**Year* too.
