and laid in a cute little circle (because lets face it, did they really have a choice??) looking ridiculously adorable.....
I felt like anne geddess. I was in baby heaven. I thought, if I can handle eight babies with minimal outbursts of screaming and just plain madness, well, then, I can pretty much handle anything. yes?
well that disillusion lasted for about one second. because guess what? they grew up. and even better yet? they became *mobile.*and did I mention they have personalities now, too??
baby extravaganza: the reunion. and this time? bribery is *exactly* all it's cracked up to be.
and then there were eight. baby breakdown, part deux. (in no particular order....
avery
aria
connor
emerson
ezra
iris
jojo
and kendall (okay, apparently I am ocd. alphabetically? SO not planned. yet I do like it...)
throw in some water....
some ride on (or in, or sometimes, even behind...) toys....
dancey dance moves...
more water...(if you sprinkle it, they will come....)
did I mention the water? (and the sometimes lapping of it as well...)
and you have a baby extravaganza. (sometimes minus a baby, but an extravaganza nonetheless...)
and then there is that bribery thing..(pretty sure they were *quite* in on it....)
one word: suckers.
and sometimes double fisted ones.
and there were even a few quiet moments to be had.....
just taking it all in...
but some things? well, they never change....
because when it's your party? you can cry if you want to.
and most likely?
you will.

Ahhhhh!!! I have been waiting for this post! I knew you were doing the 8 baby reunion...and now they are all toddlers! You are crazy brave! I hope you get these 8 together again when they are a tad older. and put them in colored Tshirts. ah jeah.

I love your enthusiasm! everyone talks about the eight baby shoot! they are famous and they are not even from the octomom!! ha! and it was a lot of work to do this post so I really do appreciate you taking the time to comment on it! and yes, colored shirts again would be cute! water activities were definitely necessary for this one...because did I mention they are mobile?? can't they just stay little forever!!
Absolutely awesome pictures. They are now little "people", each with their own personalities, and you did a wonderful job of catching those personalities. Love Mom P.S. I agree with Katie that they all have to get back together when they are a little older. That would be so cool!!!
I talked to one of the moms about a beach shoot next year and how fun that would be!! (not wild at ALL..)
